Mint Hill, NC – In an under the radar non-conference match-up at ‘The Rock’ Tuesday night, the Cardinals of Phillip O’Berry (0-1) were not expected to contend with a battle tested and experienced Rocky River (1-0) team at home. However with eight minutes left to go in the fourth quarter, the Cardinals found themselves tied at 58 a piece with the Ravens, trading baskets in an evenly matched contest throughout the ball game in front of a rukus crowd.
Sophomore guard Tobias Forte scored seven points in the final five minutes of the ball game to help lift the Ravens to a much needed victory at home.
