Charlotte,NC – Mallard Creek (1-0) opened up it’s season Monday night at home against the visiting Ragin’ Bulls of Hickory Ridge (0-1) with an impressive 75-55 home victory. The Mavericks relied on it’s high pressure full court trap defense to force Hickory Ridge into a number of turnovers that led to easy transition baskets.
The Mavericks will rely on it’s trademark team style of play as it looks to contend in one of the toughest conferences in the state which feature West Charlotte, North Meck, Hopewell, Vance and Hough.
